    Thumbs up Tournament Action

I posted this in sports, but noticed it wasn't getting much viewing action...

I took my first sports photographs at a soccer tournie this weekend (and I have the sunburn to prove it). Here's 8 of them.

    How'd I do?

Nice work, Andy ... I especially like the ones cropped to where there is no outside distractions(tent, spectators, etc.). Colors are nice and rich. I love the last one...abstract quality to it. :-)

That last one was funny...there was a kid who was clearing the ball from the backfield by booting it sky high every time. On a whim, I followed the ball skyward and caught it in front of that giant cloud.

    Thanks for the comments.

Almost like the "Soccer Gods" were tossing the ball back. Quite a leg on that kicker. :-)

Your second to last one conveys the best sense of action to me, Andy. I think it's a pretty great shot - nice capture of motion and energy in her swing!

Very Vibrant colors great job - I really like the last one as well, and am glad you posted it... I agree with Walterick, the second to last one is a really good capture....... but an unfortunate name ! I think ( if it were me ) oh, wait, this isn't critique forum!!!
