    From the Top Deck...Play ball!

I attended my first Dodger's game Friday night, and while I am not a sports nut in the least I had a blast. I must say, though, the crowd was much more interesting than the game itslef. The Dodger's lost to the Reds, by the way.

All but #1 were shot with the 70-300 mm from the top deck.

#1 My niece Amanda, always a photogenic subject.

#2 The featured player of the night, Sean Green. I don't know what all the fuss about him was...the Reds got him out every time he was at bat.

#3 The Reds celebrated their victory, and interestingly enough they form an arrow.

#4 The guy in the red Cincinnati hat was Nick Lachey from 98 Degrees. The crowd booed him when the cameras focused on him with his hat. And that sure don't look like Jessica Simpson next to him! I should sell this to the Enquierer, ha! I'm also wondering if the girl in the black to the right of the photo was one of the Olsen twins. Looks kinda like her.

I figured this was as good as any time to try out an ISO of 1600, and so all images were shot with this setting. The only time grain appeared was in the photo of Nick Lachey, but that's only because this photo was majorly cropped to focus on a small portion of the image.

    More photos will follow tonight.

I can't believe I'm actually about to admit this, but I think that's Drew Lachey - Nick's brother, who was also in 98 degrees. Nick's arm tattoo is thinner than that, and that's Drew's wife. I watch wayyyyyy too much crap MTV. Oh, and that's definitely not an Olsen twin, which is actually surprising considering you can't freakin' turn around anymore without seeing one of them on something.

Really good quality for 1600 ... at least on my moniter, I can see little or no noise. Lachey who? I haven't watched MTV since they stopped actually playing music videos. 98 degrees? Being a headbanger, I never cared for the boy-band stuff. :-) Good shots.

Hey Mig, I think you may be right. I did a little comparison by looking up 98 Degrees on the net and the tatoos don't seem to be exactly the same, so it could very well be Drew Lachey. I only took the shot because some Junior High girls sitting next to me kept yelling that it was Nick, and asked if I would take a picture for them and send it to their school email address. Like Rick, I used to be a headbanger, so I responded "Nick who?" hehe It was only after the girls informed me that Nick was married to Jessica Simpson did I realize who they were talking about. Yes, I admit, I saw the Jessica and Nick variety hour. I'm so ashamed. But in my defense it was not by choice!

Anyway, here's a collage of a few more photos from Dodger night.

Well, my roommate thinks Newlyweds is hysterical, so she watches it every week. I personally was never into boy bands - I somehow even managed to resist New Kids On The Block even though they were at the height of their popularity when I was in Junior High. I'm more of a George Clinton and P-Funk kind of gal.

    Great images Ray!
