Re: Only 3 days away! January 24th the Winter 24 Hours of PhotographyREVIEW!

Hey Marc thanks for asking. I'm sure other people wondered the same thing.

The answer is yes, 24 Hours where YOU live. That means you can start shooting at midnight Tuesday night and go until Wednesday at midnight. Because I am in the Rocky Mountain time zone, I will create a new thread for the project this evening so that people in later time zones can start posting at midnight (their time) if they want!

Any theme is okay. Most people have done a "day in the life of" theme where they carry their camera to work with them and shoot whatever happens that day. Others have taken the day to travel and put really beautiful scenics in the project. Others work at home and take pictures of the kids, cats, birds, etc. And still others do photography as their job so they post some of their work from that day in the project. So bottom line is, everything counts! It just has to be shot in that 24 Hour period. I also ask that everyone be selective in the amount of pictures they post so that we don't bog the thread down too badly. That's it!

And yes, the project is open to EVERYONE.

Thanks again. Just a few more hours to go!

    2 Birds...

Remember that the monthly project is COLOR while you are out taking the 24 hour pics.

I had a colors shot all picked out for the drive to work tomorrow Chunk. There was a bunch of iceicles hanging in front of a neon sign. I looked on my way home from work, and someone broke all of the iceicles off.
