    Talking Tokina 12-24: just arrived!

    A Holy Grail fo po folks! Heavy Metal & beautifull!
    Picx to follow, lets see if its a dog.

    the 1st is the upper left quarter frame.
    the second is a, Duh! screen. Dont know if you'll get any thing out of that, but right now I don't care!
    3rd & 4rth are my current foolishness. Blame Chunk !
    Gotta go theres more in the box.

    BTW, really well made and very quiet.IF too!
    Alright the pix suck, but the lens dosent.

    Talking Congratulations!

    Looks like a nice lens you got there! It's always so much FUN to open a box that contains any kind of camera equipment. Especially a camera and/or lens ;)

    So far so good! The color really looks good.......I like the dandelion image the best. :-)

    Hurry and post some more - looks like you got a good deal.

    Keep us posted. (sorry) I've been looking at that one. I need to get a pair of underwater P/S for the season, then that is next on the list.

    Congratulations Mark! Gotta love getting new photography gear - especially lenses and/or camera's!

    "the second is a, Duh! screen" Yeah, and it looks like a self portrait in the glass behind the screen. Guess we did get something out of that.

    I got a Tokina 20-35mm f2.8 as part of the package with my F5. It's a heavy lens with a very solid feel to it. 20mm is quite wide. Close to what that 12-24 will be on your digital. Enjoy your new toy, and I'm with Almo, give us some landscapes, interiors, etc.
