    Time warp and other things

OK Speed, is Speed short for Speed Of Light? How is it that you are answering posts before they are written today. In OT's post about 1000 posts and in Almo's thread about posting a lot you have responded to posts before they have been put up there (I use the linear display mode).
I'm also experiencing photos not showing on initial load some times - just the narrow frame that says attached images but no pic. They do show after being refreshed - sometime more than one refresh needed. That's been going on a couple days.

Edit - oh yeah, another thing that's been happening today is that I will get messages when I post that this site only allows one post in thirty seconds even though I haven't made other posts. At least the form is still displayed so I can copy my reply and close the form and do another reply, pasting in what I had already written.

Re: Time warp and other things

Hi Chunk....I am told it all has to do with the Tour De France clogging up the servers in MTBR and Road Biking. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I have seen everything you have brought up myself, and until the "bottle neck" of visitors slows down, I'm afraid we are pretty much stuck with what's happening.

    I have reported things, repeatedly.

I have been using Reply to this post, rather than quick reply to see if it will avoid the issue for now.

Let's see if we still have problems after the tour is over and things slow down. If not, I will nag again.

Thanks Lara, figured you'd be on top of things.

I noticed that too - actually this has happened a couple of times over the last few days. It's the mountain bikers, I just knew it. ;)

    It's all Brian's fault. ;)

Something else that I have had happen twice in the last two days, is that I get an error message when trying to upload a pic. It says something about "invalid file format" or something like that. I was trying to load a .jpeg image both times. I went back and selected the same exact .jpeg, and it uploaded just fine. Just thought I would let you know.
