Time for another 24 hours of PhotographyReview?

I've been thinking a lot about this lately. Its been a pretty long while since we've done a 24 hour photo shoot. Anyone else interested?

    I'm game.

Good idea! Maybe it will give me the incentive I need to go out and shoot - it's very dull outside. Winter, no snow, gray skies.......etc.........

Rick probably won't answer until next week, he's at PMA.

    JETA and Tyson

The 24 Hours Of Photography Review is where Rick picks a day, and we all take photo's during the next 24 hours. He may start it at Midnight (the offical beginning of the day) or at 6:00 am, whatever he feels like. He also usually breaks up the posts into four time slots, so you can post your photo's in the time frame in which you took your shot. (Six am to noon, noon to six pm, six pm to midnight....)

Since PR is an international community, you get all kinds of shots from all over the world. Most folks take photo's of their trip to work, work, lunch, going home, and some self portraits spread throughout the day. Others will take photo's of their day, their kids, their pets, etc. Still others (especially if it's a weekend) will go out and take the type of photo's they usually shoot with their camera. It can be an interesting display of the types of photography your fellow menbers take, and it can be very insightful of your fellow members and their lives.

They are always a hoot. It's time for us to toot our horns again and get one going.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    I vote for February 20th - 21st.

There is an eclipse that night. That would make this one special.

Yeah, but that's during the week. Do you think they could re-schedule the eclipse for the weekend when it would be more convenient?

I'm up for anything, but don't have as much time available to shoot during the week. At one point we talked about having one 24 hour period during the week and one another time of the year on the weekend.

The weekend is definitely more convient for most folks schedule.

Doing a Friday-Saturday or Saturday-Sunday one makes more sense.

Just putting in my request. I'll be taking photo's of the eclipse (weather permitting) regardless of when the 24 Hours of PhotographyReview is.

I've missed the last two or three eclipses due to bad weather. The weather has been decent here lately, and hopefully that will hold true for the night of the 20th.
