    Thinking about Canon's 400D

My 300D has seen quite a bit of use these last three years, and I'm beginning to think it is starting to go on the blink. It shuts off on me intermittently. Could be just the batteries (although one battery is only 3 months old) or a loose connection somewhere but it's enough to get me thinking about a new camera body, especially since I am now seriously considering pushing my photography professionally to generate income. Not to mention that my camera is starting to look pretty worn from all the use it has seen.

I was considering getting a 30D but after reading about the new 400D it seems to offer me all the features I will need and then some. Plus the price difference between the two is very attractive as well. I am wondering if anyone else is considering purchasing this camera or has purchased it already. Would like to see some photos from 400D owners if there are any here.

And it looks like there has already been some discussion regarding this camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi / 400D Digital SLR Camera - Press Release

Ha! You know, if I just take the time to look around on these forums I just might find what I'm asking for. It seems John has already purchased the camera and posted some photos, though I would like to see more and hear more of his findings: Rebel XTi In The House

Hmm... that's interesting. My buddy had an Elan 7E that also had the same issue after a few years. That's what led him to purchase the 350D..
