    Quote nice lens really. Although I didn't get it why you mentioned the weight here. There are situations when you just cannot get out without tripods. So I recommend you to read about similar mini tripods and find out the best one for your purposes. What are you shooting with this tele lens most often? I've been trying to learn to get the starry sky.
