I'm adding photography (shooting time) to my schedule. However, in NJ the weather has included lots of rain and quick melting snow - along with gray skies.
I'm trying to get motivated! Any ideas for winter subjects that would be fun and result in interesting images - other than the usual portraits or greenhouse roses?
Liz
Winter usually means clouds, and some different one's, shapes, textures, than the usual summer cumulus. So sunrise and sunset photo's can be nice.
I like to find things as they are, like leaves, animals, etc, and photograph them rather than make up still lifes. Yes, you can do some interesting things with fruit, but every day is usually different from the one before. (There are exceptions, but most of us don't live in Death Valley!)
In November of 2007, I went to Arkansas with a friend. He drove and I took photo's of trees whizzing by at 65 miles per hour. Something I don't usually do, but it gave me a couple of interesting photo's.
There are always Cats Liz lol Im in the same boat, not as cold here or snowy but has been wet, wet, wet. Maybe I can take shots of the ark I'm going to build.......
