That's funny Natalie, waiting to be picked up. Hope everyting is well now with you.

I had a haircut as well, totally and saved like a babys backside, scared the daylights out of the kids when they got home.

And I did it before Beckham did his, but his isn't as close as mine is.

    Take care.

    Lol

I cut it because I needed less trauma in my life and because I needed to get a lot of highlights out quick so I can regrow it (not by much) and get happy violet highlights in it
It's so much easier to wake up and shake my hands thru it and it still looks as crazy as when I started--he he

    I'll send you a tissue...

Larry goes back and forth on it...he loves my short do's and then he gets tired of it and wants to see longer hair and then it's back to short...

Most people were a bit taken aback by it---- it's just hair.

I take it your part of your local "Longer Haired Brunettes club" (grin)

hope you recover well...(patting your back --handing you a tissue) lol

    good for you.

Larry was a bit shocked (but he likes it)... a few months back I had gone a little shorter and well this time it went A WHOLE lot shorter. People either hate it or love it...

I bet your baby bum head feels so much better---less itchy and hot....

Although I considered it once--I have never felt bold enough to do it...an plus I don't think I have a very good shaped head for that sort of thing

I'm so unattached my hair (which isn't the case for most women) so viva the short/shaved do's

take care Peter...I owe you an email and update on life...

    I've been that short

In fact, I was shorter at one point. Right after high school, when it was a different color every other week. Week after school got out, cut it to about an inch and a half. Since it had recently been bleached and was growing out, looked like someone had swirled peanut butter in my hair. Out came the buzzers! Wasn't till after babies it got longer.

Love it! I'm going in next week. We'll see.....

Mine is currently long, but once when I got it cut from long to quite short (like yours) all these college guy friends of mine reacted like Speed did. I was shocked - they'd never said boo about my hair before it was gone. But I didn't care. My boyfriend didn't care. In fact, it never even occurred to me to run the idea by him before I cut it. I just had no idea what a big deal long hair is for a lot of guys. Weird.

But in my case, long one length hair is easier for me than short hair. Although I had to cut about 7" off to get it to shoulder length, because too long is a lot of work too with my fine straight hair.

As usual, I like your photo.

    a wild child ---you?

Right after my babies and right before the first short crop (day after high school ended) was the only time I've liked my long hair...

You have beautiful dark hair ---but I won't be the one encouraging you to not go short;)

    Who told you that lie?
I Corinthians 11:15 "But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering." What wasn't mentioned, but I'm sure is understood, is that a woman should have long hair for her husband to run his fingers through as well! ;-)

Yes, I am a charter member of the Long Hair Brunettes Club!

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to blow my nose and dry my eyes.

    Sniff, sniff.

For the record!--- that applies to being in a house of worship only! An indication that women were supposed to show modesty.

be careful lightning doesn't strike as you twist God's word to support the Brunette Lover's of America Club! LOL

you're full of baloney man!...thanks for making me laugh

I'm crushed! I'm devestated! I'm "full of baloney".....

Taking the passage in strict context, you are correct. It applies to being in a house of worship. But in the broader sense, it surely applies to everyday life!?? OK, maybe it's wishful thinking, but surely you can't blame a guy for trying.
