Super Bowl Celebration Photos. (56k warning-lots of pics)

Not sure if these should go in sports or not, but this is what my last few days consisted of!

so after the steelers won, we headed down to the South side (big bar district). the city had about 20 blocks of the main street closed, but not as many cops (especially on horses) as the last win. about half way through my flash batteries started to die.

It was good to finally have something i wanted to photography as i haven't done much this winter. that changed today, i took over 400 photos of the parade and festivities.

    fav pic of the night

one of the many crazy steelers fans

then today they had the super bowl victory parade through down town. I was there about 3 hours early and it was already packed. luckily there was a planter/pot me and a friend could stand on.

    Mike Tomlin (Head coach)

    Dick LeBeau (def cordinator)

Jeff Reed (kicker- he died his hair for the playoffs)

I was trying to catch the two snorts of the horses breath. it worked ok

    (Big) Ben Roethlisberger (Quarterback)

Davis (back up running back) and Heinz Ward (Wide reciever)

    Polamau (Sp?) (Safety)

Harrison with the super bowl trophy

Holmes (Super bowl MVP) with his trophy

    Thanks for looking

Nice series Dylan! Looks like you had a good time. I don't follow sports, but I did enjoy the game. I can't believe that Dick LeBeau is 71 years old and has been in the League for 50 years!! He looks like he's in his 40's.

Yeah it was a great time!

and yes Dick got one of the biggest cheers as he approached, everyoen started chanting Defense.

and btw these are all straight out of the camera (batch processed to add watermark and 92 dpi) and no crops.

These are excellent, Dylan! You must have gotten out there VERY early to get such a clear line of sight. And you got great shots of all the important people. Well done. I bet that celebration was a lot of fun.
