    Natural light enhancements

I discovered a couple areas the past week that have pretty cool natural light sources that make these particular pictures look even better than they would without I think.

The first picture (pieces of wood) there is a horse-track way up the hill behind me that shines orange lights down towards the bay. Combined with the long exposure it really makes the colors "pop" and adds a cool effect.

Same with the second picture (rocks.) There is a Dim-Sum restraunt right behind this location on the marina where this was shot that gives off a slight light to the rocks, that combined with the wide angle lens and long exposure really changes the composition. Pretty cool.

    Just wanted to share....

That first one is terrific. Love the effect you achieved.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

I really like the light you achieved on these. It is such a unique situation that the second shot almost looks fake because my mind is telling me that the lighting doesn't make sense. Thanks for sharing them.

Thanks guys. I'll probably revist these spots again, I know the lighting won't change and maybe I can get some different cloud formations in the background as well.
