    sony a300 viewfinder focus

I have a sony a300 camera. I really like it, however, recently the viewfinder has gone out of focus. The pictures come out beautifully in focus. The live view screen is in focus. The only problem is in the viewfinder. the indicators are also out of focus. Please Help.

Does it have a dioptic adjustment?

    Re: sony a300 viewfinder focus

There is a little wheel on the right side of the viewfinder that is the diopter adjustment. Look through an out of focus lens (or even take it off) at a bright light or area. Look through the viewfinder the same way that you would to take a picture and adjust the diopter until the little focus point lines are as sharp as you can get them.

This will not have to be changed unless someone else with significantly different vision uses the camera or you take off/put on glasses or contacts.
