Snow in London

Hi all

Overnight we had the heaviest snowfall in many a year in London. Very few people are able to get to work so it's very quiet. These are just a few images taken in my road.

I just posted a picture on the Greg McCary thread of my trip to the hospital this morning.

The snow started just at daybreak. It looks like we had less than you did - not enough to stop people leaving home but enough to cause havoc on the streets.

News said you got 6 inches but that looks more like about 8 to me.
The quiet of a good new snow is one of the good things about it.
With those windows in your house, you must be able to get some great window light shots.
