    Smugmug vs. Flickr

I heard about smugmug the other day. I've been with Flickr for about 18 months now. What's the general impression here about smugmug, particularly in comparison to Flickr.

FWIW, I'm not really into the Flickr community thing. It's nice and all that but I'd rather come here. I use the site primarily as an online backup and to share with family and friends. I may look into ordering some prints in the future but that's not a priority for me at this time.

I've signed up for the 14 day standard trial.

    Thanks!

    Re: Smugmug vs. Flickr

i think smugmug is more about selling. that's the idea ive gotten at least. flickr is just a way to share your photos with people who don't want to go wading through forums to see photos. I personally love the site, I've gotten so many great ideas from the photographers I have seen on there.
