Single life is nearing an end :o)

My bachelor life is getting closer and closer to being over. My fiance Laura and I are getting married this Saturday in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She's been bugging me for quite some time now to get the camera out to take some engagment type photos (so I got around to it nine months after I asked her :blush2: ).

Pulled out the tripod grabbed a friend to push the trigger and away we went. Had some really nice ones of me giving her a buck on the handlebars but I didn't get the depth of field setup good enough for that. Tried some filters on them but...

Now I just need to make sure I don't step on the toes of our photographer Actually a friend and former coworker from when I was working at the newspaper is shooting it so I think it should go pretty good.

And the photobooth is pretty much finished so look for photos of that soon!

    Congratulations!

Congratulations, Scott! She's a very pretty girl. You're a lucky guy - at least from what I see

The photos are very nice. I like that first one a lot. That bike is sweet.

Nice bike and your fiance is pretty too.
My wife and I did photo-booth for photos for our wedding invites and every body loved them.
Let them know they could relax anyway... ;-)

I love the last! Is that a filter on it or just lots of noise?

    Congrats!

I think that last one is a great idea. I'd like it better without the filter, me thinks, but very creative!

    Congrats buddy!

It's one of the canned photoshop artsy filters. Can't remember which one.

Walterick, the photo without a filter is just downright blurry It was tack sharp about two feet behind us instead. Shouldn't have tried to be the perfectionist and just stuck it at f8 and got a larger depth of field but instead I just figured I could prefocus on the ground and have my friend rattle off a bunch of shots as we rode by that spot.

Congratulations Scott. I too am getting ready to tie the knot. Our big day is Nov. 4th, and I was also in charge of our engagement photos. I really like what you did for yours. I wish I would have done something more creative with ours.
