I didn't take these but I thought they were pretty funny.

    Freeway Ends

So now it's a payway? Tollway? Or just a way?

Which brings to mind the eternal question:

Why do we park on driveways and drive on parkways?

Well remembered Roger; it's in the village of Ballyvaughan in North Clare. A beautiful part of the world.

Hope the food is as good as I remember it. Shell fish straight from Galway Bay with Guiness Yummy.

    Re: Signs of the times

I just recently rode the Great Allegheny Passage, a 140 (for us) trip across the continental divide. The first 22 miles, we were at 605' above sea level at the start and 22 miles later we were at like 2390 give or take a few feet. What a taxing ride, one of the most physical bicycle rides I have ever had. Next year we are doing the hole 350 miles from Pittsburgh to DC.

Traffic sign in a small Romanian town. Yes, it is what it looks like- Beware drunk pedestrians.

By the way, NOT my image. Credit AP.
