A sign in a bird wildlife sanctuary. It was explaining the evolution of species. Here is a crop.
Gift Aid envelopes at the end of the pews, so the church can claim the income tax on the donations, and the congregation claim income tax relief on the amount.
When I was young, we knew the beaches were dangerous, rocks could fall from the cliffs, the tide could be treacherous, dog poo in the sand was a bad thing (not as bad as the tear off drink can tabs!), and the rip current would drag you off, and as for jumping on to the submerged rocks - well that was just stupid!
But now it seems people who come to the beach are ignorant, and the threat of liability for their own ignorance or stupidity (inflatables are dangerous - no **** sherlock) results in eyesore signs like these.
Speaking of signs for stupid people - - - Alligators can be dangerous????
One time while standing on the very pier I shot this from, I overheard a guy telling another guy that the sign was stupid, the gators can't get out of the water anyway. I broke in and tried to explain the difference between a park and a zoo, but I'm not sure they got it. "You're in their house while you're here, and they're free to roam wherever they feel like."
