    Shack with a View

    A little shack I found during a climb in the Franklin Mountains in El Paso in 2007. That's Mexico in the background.

    I don't know what the point of this structure was once. Maybe it was constructed up by some partying kids? I can't see how they would get the material up there though.

    Interesting shot. Looks like a nice spot!
    We have some little structures like this on summits here in Colorado that used to be forest fire lookouts. Maybe this was one too. The ones I have seen are usually stone because that's the most readily available building material at 13,000 Ft.
