To Sell Piece By Piece or Sell As A Package???

So I am considering selling my Nikon gear, ( I know, I know My Fellow Nikon Samurai) and I am wondering if I should sell it all together or piece by piece.
I have one body, F100 with MB-15.
Four lens: 14, 24, 35-70 D, and 80-200 AFS, all f2.8. The 14 is the Sigma ASP-EX.
A strobe, the 80-DX and SC-17.
And a really great Tamrac backpack.

I came to this potential decision after not shooting seriously with it for more than a year and having to lug it around all last week in Maine. It was rather painful as you can imagine. The whole thing probably weighs 30 lbs!
I wouldn't just sell it to get rid of, I would replace it with something else, something MUCH LIGHTER!
I can't not do without a 35mm camera.
One of the cameras I think I would buy with the proceeds would be a good used Leica M6 TTL with a NICE 35mm lens.

So which will make me the most money? Selling it all together or piecing it out?

piecing it out will give you a better return ... especially if you are going to go the ebay route... chances are people may be looking for 1 or maybe 2 of your items ... they don't want to pay for a huge lot of stuff and only need a few items ... when people see a package they hope to get it for a deal ... you really shrink your market with a big package for high $$$ ...

Yep I agree. Do it as individual items. Although I have no experience in this area. I still have the first Nikon I every bought and am working on number eight now. I guess I am an official Nikon collector. Five manual film bodies one auto film and two digital SLRs.

So Larry do you want to give my well loved F100 a new home?
I hate to sell my Nikon but I am not using and I feel my photography is taking a different direction.
Plus I just can't justify having a second camera system around, especially when I am not using it.
What do you you say Larry?

I bought a pile of Nikon stuff a few years ago, including an F4, 20-35, 35-70, carbon fiber tripod and a whole bunch of accessories. I sold it piece by piece and had money back before I sold the 20-35 and c/f tripod. Those were freebies for a few hours of work - not bad, eh?

So yeah - sell them piece by piece and you'll make a lot more money.
