    Security Camera question

Hi, I know this has nothing to do with this forum and I apologize, but I am at a loss, I can't find a decent security camera forum anywhere on Google.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this or knows of a forum that I can go to instead.

I just purchased a (effin expensive i might add) DVR controller, basically a hardware system to control 16 cameras and record to hard disk bla bla, but that's not the question.

The thing is that there are cameras called 'P/T/Z' (pan/t-something/zoom) that can be controlled from this DVR.

Now from what I understand, an RS485 connector is used (which my DVR has ONE of) to connect to these ptz cameras, but I was wondering what if I wanted 4 or so cameras to have PTZ functionality, how do I connect to them using only one RS485 connector?

I scoured the web for maybe some sort of multiplexer, but nothing helpful comes up.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? It would be incredibly appreciated.

Moderators, before you delete this thread for being non-related material, would you mind leaving it a few days?
