    Schrackman is back in California!!

Hey folks, just thought I would bring you an update...after living for a year in Washington state my wife and I are back in California. I've accepted an Associate Pastor position at Beacon Missionary Baptist Church in Redding, northern California. We're getting settled into our new home and it's great just to feel the sun once again, lol.

Hopefully I'll have plenty of chances to get out and shoot some photography, but in the meantime here are some photos of Sundial Bridge here in Redding, which spans across the Sacramento River (see http://www.visitredding.com/sundial/sundial101.cfm).

:cryin: Didn't get to meet you while you were here, darn-it!
Didn't sound like you were able to appreciate our wet, gray winters though so maybe better you are back in Cal.
Never have seen that bridge before......looks fascinating and now I'm going to go google it.
    Keep Shooting!

    Hey Ray!

Glad you're happy to be back in CA.

It's a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. But that's just me... ;-)

Redding is nice. It's got lots of great outdoor access and it's far enough away from the big cities that it isn't too pretentious. It is pretty hot in the summer, though. I hope you like it there.

The bridge is cool. I've ridden my bike across it

    Ray,

Congratulations! It's wonderful that you are back home and have found an Associate Pastor position! I visited California once (San Francisco) and loved the weather. I too love the light and warmth of the sun.

I look forward to seeing more photos.

I think you were before my time here, but i do know your work. Looking forward to seeing more of it!

On another note, loving Northern CA as much as I do, I'm exceedingly jealous!

Thanks everyone! Right now it's kinda hectic getting all settled in, but hopefully I'll find time to do some photography and share it with you all.
