    A Saturday Afternoon Stroll

We had some great lighting yesterday so I decided to take a stroll/drive within a few miles from home. Thought I'd share a few...

I like your pictures Loupey, especially the first one (of the old house) and the last one of the firefighter coat.
I love walking around taking pictures of anything I like, too!

    Thanks, Jared and PhotoGirl.

In these forums has there ever been a Day in the Life... type thread? Maybe as a Photo Project (Almo, up your alley?)? My thinking goes like: pick an arbitrary day in the near future, everyone photographs what they think exemplifies a subject in their area, then everyone worldwide posts shots taken only from that day in that one thread.

Has this already been done? Any chance there is interest in doing it again?

Loupey...I vaguley remember a private photographer doing that sometime in July...you were allowed to post one photo from that day. Others, feel free to correct me, but I know a few people from this bored participated. If I remember correctly, it was called World Photo Day (?) but I'm not 100%. Mind you, that doesn't stop us from doing it on the forum privately.

    Re: A Saturday Afternoon Stroll

Thanks for the info, Jared. I think it would be pretty cool if we can get enough participation. Perhaps put a time limit of a day or two after the shoot day to process and post the images. The whole thread could be updated and done in a matter of a few days.

A few more from my day out:

    Loupey,

Nothing wrong with trying it out. Just post something in VF and see what the reaction is. Love the firefighter pics by the way...my dad's a firefighter so it has a soft part in my heart!
