    S.C. Horseplay

    Hello,

I took these last week in South Carolina while visiting my wife's family there. This is our niece Ashley and her horse. She has been riding about 3 or 4 years now and has gotten quite good. She started competing a year or so ago and has a shelf full of trophies and ribbons :-)

Anyway, I shot both of these with:
EOS 1V, Sigma 300mm, tripod, approx f.5.6 at 1/500th second, fill flash at -2/3 stop.
The color shot is on Kodak 160NC and the B&W is on Kodak 400BW.

Thanks for looking and take care.

    Hi Joe

It's good to see you around - and bringing some of your wonderful photos with you. ;)

These are wonderful images - very sharp. I love b&w so enjoyed the 2nd one.

Hope all is well with you and that you had a good time.

    Liz

Beautiful shots! I"m a big fan of B&W but I just love that colour one. It's almost 3D!! Very nicely done!

    Thank you Liz and tink!

It's funny how some prefer b&w and some prefer color. I've had about a 50/50 response from my friends on these two. This was the first time I have shot B&W in years and when I got the prints back I was really taken with some of the B&W shots. I plan to shoot this film more often now. Thanks again for the kind comments.

    Take Care,
    Joe Mags
