    Rocky Mountain High

I wasn't planning on posting on account of our leaving on vacation, but I just had to share these.

Just down the street from our house the Playhouse Bowl Association is putting on their annual Evenings in the Park, where they invite various musical artists week after week to perform a concert.

Tonight's artist was Jim Curry, who is a near perfect copy of John Denver. He is known for landing the part of singing John Denver's voice in the CBS TV movie Take Me Home.

I've never seen John Denver in concert personally, but I've always enjoyed his music. And this was as close to seeing him as one will ever get, it was that good.

Unfortunately the PBA has terrible, terrible lighting equipment, and hence the orange/yellow glow all over his face and guitar. I was fortunate to even get these. Shot with the XTi and 50mm.

Enjoy! And see ya'll in about a week or so after I come back from my "rocky mountain" hideaway.
