Some of my work around town...

#1 A billboard for our Chamber's Visitor's Center that I designed. Well, my boss had the initial concept and I just put it all together in Quark. The photo is a stock photo.

#2 I didn't design the billboard but I did do the portrait. The graphic designer didn't do a great job of extracting the subject from the background in ps and the colors are not the same as the photo I took. Looks more washed out.

Both billboards can be seen on Interstate 10 heading east through Banning. I shot these as I was exiting the freeway (yeah, driving and shooting at the same time!)

Re: Some of my work around town...

I just opened up the paper from last Friday and noticed more of my work...this time in the Record Gazette's Cherry Festival Issue. The little cheerleader and then the little boy in the upper right hand corner on the front cover were my photos, as are the other two on separate pages.

Ya think the paper would give credit to the photographers, but noooooo!

    Congrats on the billboard

I'm sure I've asked this before, but where is Banning? It sounds familiar to me

    Thanks jorgemonkey.

And, lessee, from San Jose it's a long way!

We're about 20 - 25 miles due west from Palm Springs on I-10, or about an hour east of Los Angeles. Not quite in the desert, but almost. Banning sits in a pass between Mt. San Jacinto and Mt. San Gorgonio.
