Trying out the Nikon 18-105VR kit lens

This was shot at 45mm at F22 with the Nikon 18-105mm kit lens. I had a chance to try this out yesterday on my D80, Jeff

That's a nice shot, love the blue sky and framing effect caused by the foreground leaves.

But... what are the leaves supposed to be framing? I can't seem to find a clear subject, perhaps a pelican or maybe even an alligator would've added more interest. Just my opinion.
