RePost: new thread B/W+skin=being artistic

I had posted this in Critique a while back trying to get advice on cropping and whtehr it really had nay impact as a whole.....and with all the nude, nekkid, naked, nuddie butt
talk I thought I would open up the subject of artistic "nudes"...

Challenge: post body abstracts that contain skin and are in BW

...if we can exclude nipples and general genetalia( I know killjoy) it would allow other members that have expressed a general discomfort with that to view this thread

Remember ---artistic---some kinda skin---BW....Have fun.

It may be against the rules, but get over it!

Playing with the Coolpix 5700 a few months back. Camera on a tripod, self-timer, indoor lights, converted to grayscale for Nat's thread.

we already went thru this...although this nipple shot is much better than the original scary hamster shot....

wonder why it is that it's weird for people to look at a pic of a woman's nipples and some find it offensive but a man's niple in adfvertising is totally o.k.

the way the mind works is fascinating...

try a tighter crop of the left side (your right in the pic) so it's half your chest and your shoulder....see attached

Here's a slightly tighter shot I took after the first one. Yes, it needs cropping too. I shot more than a dozen shots from different angles, different lighting directions, etc. I deleted all but these two. As I said, I was playing around, trying to learn a little about lighting angles. And the more I learn, the more I realize how much I DON'T know!
