    Radio Controlled Electric Air Show

Went to a local RC electric air show.

They love their planes. Most were 'launched' rather than take off in the grass.

One game was a bombing run where they put an egg in a cup (one had a real bottom drop mechanism) and flip upside down to try to hit the inside of a circle.

This is the best I did at capturing a 'bomb'. They call this type of plane a UFO.

Here, the object was to cut the center ribbon without cutting the other two. They weren't very successful.

A very clever idea that really looked like a tight formation from any distance.

Re: Radio Controlled Electric Air Show

This one flew by only flapping its wings. The only other control was the tail as a rudder.

    Great fun shots!
Regarding the bird plane, does the trottle control wing speed which controls altitude? Coolest plane ever!

Great series and they must be passionate about their hobby.
If I had one of those and was in one of those bombing competitions, I might have to accidenally go off course...maybe over the crowd or the judges stand or something
    Keep Shooting!

I'm not sure. I didn't look like the tail went up/down, but I don't know how 'flap speed' would make it go higher rather than just faster. - Terry
