    A project I'm starting

And since I have about 19 hours on a train Thurs/Friday, I guess this will give me something to do, when I'm not shooting.

Once apon a time I saw a poster on another forum who would find old photographs, and scan in the frames, and use them to place his own photos in. Ever since then I've wanted to try it, and I've finally gotten around to trying it out.

Here is the first one I've been seriously been working on. I know I'd like to get the type better. I'd like to get a type face that is sort transparent, like a photocopy like look. The original to this actually had the person's initials, and the city & state where the photograph was taken. I also plan on cleaning up the edges of the photo in the corners.

Any other thoughts on this little project? I've got a few more frames that I'm still working on.

This one I'm on the fence. I really like the frame, but somethings just not right about it.

It originally was the normal old yellow type, but the photo didn't quite seem to match. Oh well, I'll guess I'll keep pluggin away at it.

Plus I'm also having fun practicing restoring old photos at the same time.
