I came in third in my high schools mens beauty pagent, but it was more of could the most outlandish and funny than looks, but I like to think it was the other way around.

I'm excited that this event may actually happen. Having a national gathering, imo, is different than Chicago, LA, or New York gathering because everybody is traveling to the city instead of living around it.

If the choice is Nashville, (I voted for AZ) I would be happy to rent a large enough vehicle to take 4-5 people to the Great Smoky Mountains. It's 3 hours away, but since airfare is so expensive I wouldn't be going back there anytime soon.

There is a lot to see there and I would be willing to lead an excursion to the park.

Ah Loren, you have a short memory. To me, the Chicago Gatherings have been really interesting for the very reason that hardly anyone that goes is actually from Chicago.

I fly in from Florida, you've flown in from CA, nat from the northeast, Irakly came in from Detroit, others from Wisconsin, etc. To me they've been as "national" as you can get...

BTW, that's a great offer you make to take folks into the mountains. Hope all of this works out. It's shaping up to be a very memorable event...

Nah, the girls will just have to change clothes, makeup and hair styles 4 or 5 times. Besides, I don't think I could afford that many razor blades. :blush2: (Sorry for that mental image)

I'd say it's a tight race with Arizona...

So October 2007 it is---Nashville first choice Arizona tight second.....let's do both!

I have to agree with Steve on this one. Plus were are talking about doing this once a year, so next year it will be a different place. Don't get me wrong I would love to see AZ and next year it can happen. Then the year after that another location and so on.

    Just my 2 cents.

I am going to have back surgery sometime this year so it would be hard for me to go, but what about a meeting east and west with a live tele cam to each other. Just an idea

Hah, Nashville? I might be able to go there.

    Arizona? No way.

I have a sister down in Tennessee, but shes not near Nashville.

Yeah, I might be able to get down for Nashville, if it happens.
