This is one of like four or five frames of this guy. The first is when I walked up to him sitting on a fencepost. I grabbed that one, and the sound of my loud EOS 650 sent him aloft, and the next frames were him in flight. I have one other that doesn't want to scan very well, a side shot with the wings fully raised-- you can see the face and the body okay. My biology prof, also a photog, gushed over that one. Shot on 100 T-Max since I was taking a B&W photography class then. I was using my now-dead 70-210 f/4, hand-held... I really liked that lens.
