Re: Post Your Bird Images Here!!!!!!!
the closest I can come with this bird is a plumage for I an not familiar with of the white eyed vireo.
The IRIS in this image ISN'T white and the YELLOW eyering looks WHITE!! That must be from the lighting, or IT'S NOT A WHITE EYED VIREO!

That's the bird I thought it was, before I downsized for this site you could see the white of its eye. I'll have to check out that warbler book, I think that might be the one I was looking at on the Amazon site the other night. The one I saw in the book store didn't have much more info than "Sibleys Guide to Birds" , I don't look at the field manuals to much I don't need more things to carry.

I have 90% of my images on external HD and can't find my power cord right now..........
But here is a yellow throated vireo from the delaware water gap area taken june 29th.
The file was a quick crop/edit for my birding partner to PROVE to him what it was ;)

White- throated sparrow.
No I won't let it die ;)
Maybe I will let it after it passes WELL BEYOND all the sticky threads?
I have 6000 + unedited images, so I am sure I can get 500 more to post :)

Another Sparrow, I looked through some of my shots and I don't have a lot of sparrow pictures. I might have to start paying more attention to them. This shot goes back to last spring and was from one of my first times out with my new 10D.

SONG sparrow..... I do believe(not the typical eatern range song seen in most books though). I have seen a good number of what appears to be a southwestern varient in NJ

Re: I think I know what these are, but
That black crowned nightheron image is nice, but these immature wood ducks are WAY better than I have EVER gotten
We will make 1000 at best?(you surely will!!!), but I am amazed we made it this far
STILL WANT 2K anyway!!!
I will get back to shooting soon, as my schedule is CRAZY right now and birds are scarce right now

Here is another bird that I don't remember being posted yet. Another old shot from back in April. I don't know how many more birds I have shots of that would be new to this thread, I might have to go back and make a list. Do you have a list of the birds posted here Paul ?
Mike
Re: Post Your Bird Images Here!!!!!!!
I changed my mind on this post.... sorry guys , but you can't see me flipping the BIRD today :)
Re: Post Your Bird Images Here!!!!!!!
As I am sure you know...
This is the first warbler to PASS THROUGH NJ on it's way to the breeding grounds. It's a PALM WARBLER. A nice image of one too!
NO I don't have a list of species posted and it would take hours on dialup (yes I am a dinosaur) to get one. Beside new species is not important in my quest for the GREATEST THREAD HERE EVER :)
