I am trying not to be the image poster, but refuse to let this thread EVER leave the fron't page :)

This image(from Sedona AZ) is 3 years old and nearly full frame. The original is on one of my externals, so this not so good edit is what I offer you today ;)

Here's one back to what this thread was started for. This one might be tough, not a very good picture and just a head on view.

do you have any other images of this bird? It appears to be a first year magnolia warbler in a way, but is missing the grey neck band. That leads me to think it must be a young prairie warbler :)

About time you had another one from the UK
If you look this up in the Oxford Book of Birds - don't believe it !
It says it's restricted to wooded valleys in Wales.
I took these within a mile of the A40 to London from Oxford.
They've been intriduced and are breeding like, er rabbits
    Or is that their lunch?

After fledging it's not unusual to see too many in the sky at once to count.
Never heard of birds of prey being sociable, but they seem to be.

I know its a hummingbird bird but its the first time we have one like this in our yard. Usualy we just have the little green ones but this one is much larger than them and is also almost a grey to white color.

LL, I have honestly never slowed down long enough to get close to a cardinal and they are leary in my area! I have indeed been a few feet from them many times, but never with my camera ;)

    The redtails are nice!

As to your hummingbird..... Not too many are bigger than a rubythroated(which is the only east coast/ canada dwelling hummingbird... besides a few misguided wanderers)

Are you sure it was bigger, because the only juvenile/ female hummingbird that COULD be is an anna's or rubythroated..... The anna's is only 1/4 inch longer in length too

HEREis a juvenile ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD in august ... from Sedona AZ

If you have other images of it post them! And next time you have an ODD bird.... call some birders to ID it for you!

All I need is you area of Canada and I will find you a birding group to inform :)
