    Polaroid Land Camera circa 1959

Hi. I am working on a novel and there is a scene where a character uses a Polaroid Land Camera, B&W circa 1959. I was only 4 years old then, and can't find any info. I remember vaguely in the 60's the Land Camera then. I seem to remember that the photo had a covering you had to peel off, and an ampule of chemical in a stick to spread on the picture to help develop it. What was the process to develop the B&W Polaroid Land Camera picture in 1959?

    Thanx
