These are from Waimanalo beach - we've had 35 foot swells and 8 foot waves on the south side of the island (oahu) - a pro-surfer was killed last night, crushed by one of these waves. I need to wait for the swells to calm down before I can go diving. ;(

Thanks, I created a cheesy gallery of my photos, at least the ones i've edited so far and they include a little bit more than waves. I'll actually have the whole day to myself tomorrow so any Oahu shot requests?

Beautiful shots of the surf. We only get stuff like that when a hurricane blows through. I won't be diving for a little while, the instructor I teach with is in the hospital with internal bleeding. He fell over thursday at home and is having a scope stuck down his throat this afternoon to look for the leak. They've transfused him 4 times since he was delivered.

Give me a yell if your coming down to Miami area and feel like a dive trip or two to the Keys. Our dive site is www.serenitydiving.com. My 15 year old and I run the site for the instructor.

Hi Janie...I think I stated in another post of your Oahu posts...if you get around Wheeler AFB and Kunia Tunnel...any shots of those would be neat for me...but...don't go out of your way...hehe...Have a great day to yourself...

Hey Janie,

With surf and seas like that, the visibility is going to stink anyway. You'll want to wait for several days after the ocean calms down if you want to see beyond your hand. BTDT.
