Nothing, apart from the resize/sharpen steps this is as shot.
Can't remember if this was 1DmkIIN or 1DSmkII, both capture the weird fluorescent colours better than the 20D.

Great work by everyone! Aside from post processing something I've been using PS for lately is photo restoration. Some of my recent examples:

Heres one of mine, more of a creative one rather than just post process type stuff on a regular shot. Still have lots to learn with PS though.

    Re: The photoshopped thread!

Just been having some fun in PS and PSP8.
Cropped the image. Burned the bg, converted to B&W and spherized the lenses of the glasses in PS.
Added a spider and made a thin selection for the web and dodged it in PSP8.
Just my light-hearted approach to photography

Here's another one I did a while back. I really liked the finished product on this one, but my computer crashed and I lost it and the original before I had them backed up.:mad2:

I'm rather new to this forum, but certainly not to Photoshop. Here's one of my favorites ( The "after" image actually got published!)

A montage I did for a comp: (I left out the source images, as there were four or five)

And some retouching work I've done:

Oh my goodness Medley!!! My work pales in comparison to yours! Stunning portrait!

I had some fun in PS at 3am this morning. A composite of 3 images and 3 effects.

Thank you Alison. In truth, I'm a much better at image editing than I am at photgraphry. Done correctly though, it's difficult to tell the difference. And I'm learning that some things are better (and easier!) done in-camera.

Very nice composition! Here's one that I did recently that I really like:

Wow there's a lot of amazing work on here. I have always resisted using PS. My wife has PS on her computer. I think I need to learn how to start using it since I know nothing about other than how to resize

I was thinking the original is awesome too. I see you were wearing a white shirt from the reflection in her eyes? Awesome work.

Thenk you both. As I've admitted before, I'm more of an image editor than photographer. However, having done some editing for professionals, I have on rare occasions been allowed the use of a professional studio and equipment. I'm not sure if this is one of my best works or just my luckiest. Either way, I do have to admit to some touch-up work and airbrushing, but not a whole lot. This is one of those images that conviced me that the more I could do correctly in-camera, the less I needed my editing skills.

Just don't ask me how many shots I took that day to get this one incredible one.......

Oh, and Dave, I think the white reflection was from the umbrella light diffuser we were using, but I could be wrong. I really dont recall what I was wearing, at any rate.

    Re: The photoshopped thread!

So I managed to get my hands on those Kodak Filters (GEM, GEM Airbrush, ROC, and SHO all the pro ones) through my place of work (the joys of working for a college, they cost me next to nothing).

I love 'em. I've already been playing with them. Here's an example:

Orignal - Nikon F80 Nikkor AF 28-80mm lens, Kodak Max ISO 400 Film, processed and scanned to CD in Lab

Photoshopped - GEM Pro, GEM Airbrush Pro, ROC Pro, Resized, Saved for Web

THANK YOU ALISON! (For telling us about these awesome tools)
