I'm heading over tonight for the "Test Drive" event, then plan on being there for a few hours Friday mid-afternoon. Who else is going?

Is there some way a group of us could meet there for lunch, coffee - or whatever? Night time is not good for me as I don't want to travel back to NJ too late.

I will be calling John to confirm time and place in about an hour. I am assuming he is staying in NY - he is flying out tomorrow afternoon. If he is in NJ - then NJ is great for me since I live here......although love going to the city. I hope the weather is better - it is supposed to be a nice day. We now have about 4" of snow in my area.

I could not get through to John......the phone rings twice then stops....then disconnects - no voice mail...no sound. I sent him a pm as he sent me one earlier so will most likely check his messages. I should hear from him later....and will let you know.

The weather is terrible here - NJ in state of emergency - 500,000 people with no power. The cell towers could also be affected.

The Acadia Denali was AWESOME in these conditions! Barely noticed the weather, except for all of these slow people and trees on the road. ;) Kidding... it was a very comfortable, safe drive in a powerful crossover.

I flew back home today, thankfully before all teh bad weather hit.

I did enjoy PhotoPlus (being my first time there), my Leica IIIc and Rolleiflex 2.8F gained a lot of attention. I was there on the Thursday as Friday I was up in Butler, NJ helping record several upcoming podcasts of the Film Photography Podcast. (If you were there today you may have seen a whole bunch of listeners wandering the floor...)

Well, unfortunately due to many circumstances (weather a big one for me), PJ and I postponed our getting together until the next time he is in NYC. Maybe at that time more of us can plan some time together.

I hope everyone - especially in the Tri-State area - is safe and warm. About 2M people are out of power.

Thanks Megan - yes.....we really need to have an "old-fashioned" NYC community gathering one of these days.....soon. I was really looking forward to seeing you. We used to have a few during the year in different parts of the country. I really miss those opportunities.
