Well, regardless of the reasons you're back, I'm pleased to have you. We're still using the glossary you helped out with and I think about you every time I look at it. It does need some updating at this point, though.
What are you shooting with now? And what's new? Have you posted any photos for us to look at?

Still struggling with the F5, but lately more shots are being produced with a D200. Getting used to the digital world. Lighter and don't have to lug around tons of Fuji Velvia.
Not sure if I would be the right person to update the glossary due to all the new lingo in the digital world.
Most of my photos now are from Utah/Arizona area. I take the Hummer out there every summer for a few weeks of shooting (photos that is). I just might move out there and find a place to hide in the desert.
Here's a photo from Capital Reef NP. Overlook into Cathedral Valley....
Another from Capital Reef (the geography sure does change from one side to the other)...
Temple of the Moon in the foreground, Temple of the Sun in the background, Capital Reef NP
Last...Temple of the Sun, Capital Reef NP, with the moon over top...
All photos taken with a Nikon D200 and the Tokina AT-X 124 AF 12-24mm F/4 lens. (My only non Nikon Lens)
I'll stop in from time-to-time. Still a great site.
Take care....

Those are gorgeous shots. I love the desert. Can't even say why, I just do. Your shots make me want to travel out there tomorrow!!

Great shots! How do you like the Tokina? I already have the 28-70/2.8 and am thinking about either the 12-24/4 or the new 16-50/2.8. So far the 12-24 is winning.
Again, Great job! I really like the bottom one though.... wish I could get my night stuff to come out like that but I am missing something on that spectrum of things.

Love it. Basically, it was the only lens on the d200 for the entire trip. Since the D200 has the 1.5 multiplier, I had to have something that would take me back down to the 17-18mm I was used to with a film camera; and this Tokin lens did this just right.
I had some other Tokina lenses in the past and had great luck with them, but I eventually switched to all Nikon pro lenses. In sthis case, I could not justify the extra 500 for a Nikon lens.
