The photographs, in the movie "Closer"?

Has anyone seen the movie "Closer"?
In it one of the characters, plays a photographer and has exhibit.
At looking at photographs, there were a few that reminded me of Avedon.
But there were also some that Had to have been Avedon's.
Anyone confirm my su****ions or am I up in the night.
Don't answer that last part.. ;)

    Haven't seen it!

Hmmmm... have not seen the movie. I was going to wait for the DVD...
Next on my list is "A Series of Unfortunate Events."
I've been a fan for several years. I'm curious to know the answer though!

Makes sense Brian, since I'm sure the actress is not quite that level of photographer.

I guess, I gotta see the movie. I hear it's kinda distrubing though.

Brian, I did find this article that infers that the character takes Avedon "like" photos.

    Thanks Lara, but....

It dosen't quite answer my question.
The photographs were very "Avedon like", but there was one at least one that I am certain was an Avedon.
    Thanks guys!
Glad to see you are still around Rich! Keep posting stuff here!

    Re: Thanks Lara, but....

Yeah, I know it didn't answer your question sorry. But the article did make the only reference to Avedon I could find. It's got me curious as well. Who would give permission to use his photographs, if they are indeed his? Or do they need permission?
