    A Photographer's Wage - Veteran's Day 2006

The coffee and doughnut hour after Veteran's Day 2006.

Sometimes I work for food, certainly on this day. It has been an honor to photograph the group I was with today for several years.

Nice image it say a lot in a very simple way. I just hope that the rest of America stepped up today and said thanks to a veteran even if they didn't get a donut and a cup of Joe.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

This is a wonderful photo - meaningful and as OT said, it's simple (creative) and speaks volumes.

Thanks for posting and sharing with us.

I keep going back to my photo's from my Grandfather's funeral last January...I know its not the best photo technically. I have much respect for him and all the other soldiers of our country.

He served in WW2 and survived the D-Day invasion.

Thanks to all who took time to look!

O.T., Liz, & photo101 thank you for your comments.

Yes, we all should stop and think, for a moment even, about those Vets whose service allow us to do what we do everyday, here and elsewhere.

By the way, these were fresh Krispy Kreme's and I don't believe anyone stopped with just one. It was chilly Saturday morning.
