    Photo sharing for kids?

Hey, my son who is 10 is becoming more and more interested in photography. In my (unbiased ) opinion he has a good eye for it . I love to see him interested in something that I am too and want to encourage it however I can.
I show him stuff I post on Facebook and Flickr and he wants to have somewhere to post and share as well. So I have been Googling for photo sharing for kids and not finding any good leads.
Does anyone here have any ideas for a family-friendly place that would suit a 10 year old's photo sharing usage?

The barriers start with 13 year old age requirements (Facebook, Instagram) and then there stuff like full-on porn on Flickr.

Some artistic nudity could be ok I think but it would probably be easier (on my mind) to have no nudes at all.

Best bets so far are print-buying places like Shutterfly that also have photo hosting. They aren;t ideal IMO because they are there to sell you prints so everything funnels that way to make sales.

I have a feeling there is no such place but would love to hear otherwise.

I'm tempted to just lie about his age for an Instagram account but would prefer not to for multiple reasons, a primary one being encouraging dishonesty.

    Thanks!
    Matt

I raised three kids and the more responsible they were the more freedom and leeway they were given. They all matured faster than most so they got cell phones and other things most kids were much older when they got them.
All kids mature differently. I think it all depends on the child and their relationship with the parents. Age is just a number. Just my two cents.

Thanks, I feel the same in a lot of ways but like to make informed decisions too. I just want to be sure I do my homework. Also, his mom is more concerned about this (and things in general) than I am so I need to sell the idea to her too.

He is using Picasa to edit so I'm tempted to just make him a Google account for the easy integration. Then I guess I'd have a reason to visit G+ every now and then too...
