    Photo Project Update

I should have posted this a while back, but better late than never.

The Photo Project for each month will be posted on the 3rd day of the month. This means that the November Project will go up tomorrow.

Since this is the first you guys are hearing of this, I am gonna give you advanced warning of the subject, so you can plan for your weekend...

This one is going to be open to some wide interpretation, which is how I like it...

    OLD

Whatever that means to you, get out your camera and show us in the Photo Project Forum!

    Re: Photo Project Update

    Hi, almo!
I've been here about a month. I'm wondering that since this is a project if we are to only use photos taken during the month of the project or can we dig out old ones.
I did both for the October one.
    Thanks.

This is a very common question. It is ok to use older photos if they fit the theme, but the point of the project is to inspire you to shoot. To shoot in new ways, to shoot subjects you may not have thought about before, and to have a good time. You should see the project as a tool of creativity. Its easy to fall back on images that you already have, the real challenge lies in taking the idea given and seeing how you can expand on it.

In short, old images are ok, but new ones are prefered.

Well, I guess since Almo said "whatever" old means to you, that we can use "old" photos! Almo - just teasing! Have a good day...

BTW Almo - this is a GREAT idea.........that can have many facets......different and creative ideas. I'll have to give it a lot of thought.
