With the Phillies' home opener in their new ballpark today, their mascot, the Phanatic was at my workplace creating havoc, passing out schedules, kissing the girls, and scaring the babies. Trying out the new Olympus C-8080 8Mp digital camera, I was pretty happy with the results, as these are pretty much right out of the camera, all default settings, resized and slight USM only.
#1 - the Phanatic enjoying the company of some pretty visitors.
#2 - this little cutie just finished crying to stare into the camera...she was scared of the big green guy. :-)

Are there ANY ugly girl's in Philly!? I'm starting to think it's Texas over there! Must be some of the best genes in those two states. What a cutie in the second one.

Funny you should mention that... Philly was voted(in a Travel & Leisure survey) as the city with the least attractive people(San Diego was #1), also the least fashionable(NYC #1). Go figure. :-)

Loved both pictures... the first one is a perfect travel picture. The second one, she is a cutie and I'm glad she stopped crying.

Hi Penny ... I think I've got enough gear(D100, Contax G2, Leica) to last me, but I couldn't resist playing with the new 8Mp cameras, then being able to borrow the Olympus C-8080 from a photographer friend. I really like it, but my wallet will scream if I ask it for $1000 right now. :-) Take care.
