    A pet project

For the past couple of years I've been honing my skills creating microscapes. Tiny slices of the world that I define pretty strictly (check out the blog post if you want my twisted logic on this). This year I'm working in a lot more dappled sunlight since I love that quality in the forest.

Not many of my microscapes are in black and white so far, but this one really works that way to me. It brings up the textures much more.

it's Christmas fern, one of my favorites. It really lends itself to black and white and I thought I'd share. I love these little worlds.
