Perseid meteor shower set to put on a great show

Cloudy skies kept me from watching the last meteor shower. I'm hoping for clear weather for the Perseids.

Anyone get out and take any photos of the showers yet? Spent about an hour out late last night watching, and attempting to get a few photos... Let's just say it was a learning experience... ;) Great night to watch though...

Too much light pollution in the San Francisco bay area to give the camera a good chance, but I enjoyed watching though..

Anyway, got one "blah" shot for my effort..

I'm in Australia for a few weeks and it's been cloudy and I'm in a city so I didn't try. I usually would as where I normally live is usually pretty good. Maybe next time!
