    Paul's 1st Birthday

Just a little brag post. Our grandson Paul is having his first birthday this week and we had a little party for him at our house this weekend.

Congrats on the grandsons first, he looks like he is a mess worth cleaning up, and he knows how to share. I really like the third one down it reminds me of my oldest being surrounded by toys but the only thing that he wants are the boxes and paper.

Is the first birthday cake the most enjoyed for the rest of your life?

I think you both hit it on the head the paper and the boxes were as big a treat for Paul as what was inside and all for of the grandsons have had a ball with their cakes. Thank goodness their parents have given them their heads and let them enjoy it rather than being paranoid about the mess.

    Re: Paul's 1st Birthday

Thanks Liz and John and Alison. Family photography is what keep me going for several years back when the kids were growing up and it seemed like I worked every waking hour. Now I have more time and it seems more energy to do a few things right with photograph but these family moments are still very important to me.
