    Out at it again

This poor gal had a bad day, lucky for her, her convertible landed just right. She was not crushed, just a few bumps and bruises. Very very lucky.

Looks like she was lucky the ditch was there and the drivers area straddled it.

    I can't believe she wasn't hurt worse.

I'm scared to ask this, but what does it take to flip a car like that? I have a very similar car.

I am not too sure how it happened, I heard at the local corner store, a flat tire was to blame. But you know how small community gossip is, they just make stuff up.

    Re: Out at it again

I'm not sure how she got into that position (I can't find any tracks), but I'm fairly certain what actually flipped the car was the dirt embankment. It really doesn't take much speed to flip any car if you hit a ditch/embankment combination like that. Judging from the first picture, with the dirt caked in the left front tire and the broken fender, it looks like that corner of the car is what dug into the embankment and caused the roll.

So, no worries JETA, that looks more like a case of unlucky circumstance rather than some flaw of the car itself.

    Great pictures, Tyson.

Tyson - great job on the photography. What a blessing that she wasn't seriously hurt. Seeing the car, it's actually amazing!
