    OT- Anyone here from Seattle?

My family and I will be in Seattle for a whole 24 hours at the end of the month... does anyone have any suggestions for activities (with kids) while we're there? Good photo OPs would be a plus. ;) I've never been to the West coast at all! Thanks!

The Pike Street Market, Seattle Aquarium, and Science Center are all good bets. Top it all off with dinner in the Space Needle for the view or the Spaghetti Factory for the food.

mmmm Spaghetti Factory sounds good! Thanks, I think that we'll definitely do the Space Needle and Pike Market. I'm interested in the new Science Fiction Museum, but they don't have prices posted yet (opening on June 18th). So, it should be a fun walk on the "other side" for us Floridians! ;)

While you are down at the Space Needle, you might want to check out the Experience music project (EMP) http://www.emplive.com/ The interactive museum is fun and the outside of the building has lots of different angles and colors to photograph.

Not far from the Space Needle is a area called Queen Anne. You can go to Kerry Park and get some nice shots of the City with Mt. Rainer in the background. http://www.cityofseattle.net/parks/parkspaces/kerry.htm

As already mentioned, Pike Place Market is a must.

    Have fun in Seattle!

Thanks Jo, I will do that! I just wish we had more time... *sigh*. But, I will enjoy the time that we do have. Thanks for the suggestions!
