Damn, dude- your'e really doing it! I'm about as jealous as I can be . And really happy for you- this is youre in to the biz, IMO. Are you getting paid to get sick shots I hope? I'm not... yet.
Just to add a little critique- the mag is kind of hard to navigate. You can't really "flip" through it quickly. I wanted to get to your shots and it wasn't terribly evident how to get there fast. My $0.02.

Oh, I don't do the layout or the editing or any of the production, I just shoot pictures and cover events. I'll relay that to my editor, though.

Sadly, there is no money in skim photography.... as of right now. The magazine needs to attract some hefty sponsors first. When that happens, I start getting some $$.

Oh by the way, if you ever get any really good skim shots, relay them to me and I'll forward them to my editor. You never know....

The Palouse (the area in which I go to school, comprised of parts of eastern Washington and northern Idaho) is basically just lentil fields and barns...I'm becoming quite adept at photographing them...so it'd be cool if I could get a job like yours, as a staff photographer, but for a lentil field and barn magazine as opposed to a skimboarding mag...Just a joke.

Little factoid...approximately 100% of all US lentil production is done on the Palouse. You all should come over to the National Lentil Festival in August...

Cool. So I guess you were getting at the fact that it is somewhat of a small nitche (sp) that you are good at, like myself and skim photography.
